Témoignage Joël Thomé Responsable du développement produit chez Philips Eclairage au début des années 2000, j'ai eu l'occasion de travailler avec Taeke dans le cadre de projets de développement de nouvelles gammes de produits professionnelles d'éclairage extérieur. Ces gammes de produits ont rencontré un succès incontestable sur le marché, en grande partie grâce au travail réalisé par Taeke sur le design. Cependant, sa contribution ne s'est pas limitée aux aspects esthétiques. En effet, sa connaissance approfondie des processus de conception de produits, des matériaux et des processus industriels lui a permis d'apporter une valeur ajoutée importante à l'ensemble des activités stratégiques et opérationnelles tout au long des projets. Testimony Joël Thomé Head of product development at Philips Lighting in the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to work with Taeke in development of new professional products ranges for outdoor lighting projects. These product lines have met with a success on the market, largely thanks to the work done by Taeke on the industrial design. However, his contributions where not merely aesthetic. Indeed, knowledge on products, materials, and the industrial creation and design process allowed him to provide significant added value to all strategic and operational activities throughout the projects.
